FORMAT:

Pill Draw

Cost – $15.00 per Car/Driver

Sign-ins start @5:30p.m. – Till start of Heat Races. (Late Sign-ins put on the tail)

Open Practice until 6:30 p.m.

Handlers’ Meeting – 6:45 p.m.

ALL RACE TEAMS are required to have (1) ADULT representative at the

handlers meeting.  After Qualifying or when sign-ins are complete, on a pill

draw race day, it will be announced that a handlers meeting will be held behind the scoring tower in so many minutes.  The time clock on the track will be set for that time period.  When the clock runs down to zero the handlers meeting will start.  Any race team that is not represented at that time, their driver will start at the rear of the field for their heat race.

Heat Races – 7:00 p.m.

  • All Drivers will run at least 2 races.   
  • No warm ups.  Roll and Go
  • Heat races limited at 10 minutes or 20 laps
  • 3 Charged Yellows – scored as a DQ.
  • QMA rules apply.  Code of Conduct in effect. 
  • 5 lap rule under yellow – Once the line-up is good on the track as stated by

     the Tower, there will only be five laps allowed for repairs to your car.  The

     Race Director will count down to the car(s) in the pits until one to go is

     given by the flagman (Club Level Only).

Feature Races –

*Feature races will be limited at 15 minutes or until laps are completed.

Coin will be flipped to determine straight up or Inverted.

Jr. Novice, Sr. Novice, Lt. W/F, Hvy. W/F, Jr. Honda, Sr. Honda, Hvy. Honda,  

Lt. 160, Hvy. 160

  LAPS:       Heat Races & Consi’s:

        Novice – 20 Laps     Jr.’s – 20 Laps      Sr.’s & Up – 20 Laps

        Features

        Novice – 25 Laps     Jr.’s – 30 Laps      Sr.’s & Up – 40 Laps

POINTS:

Points awarded as in the Tri-City Series (see attached chart).

Designated Track Fuel Station:

Sunoco Station located @ corner of US 27 & State Rd (1/2 mile N of track)

89 Octane ONLY

TECH:

All classes will cross the scales after their heat race.

The top 3 finishers in each Feature will cross the scales and go to impound.

All Novices will have their Restrictor Plate pulled.

A class will be drawn after the last feature to be teched.

AWARDS:

Novices – Participation Award (must run 3 out of 5 race days).

Top 3 in all other classes to be awarded.

Awards will be presented at the Year End Banquet in November
